Rumble: Swing and A Miss

While it wasn't a "bad" mead per say, it certainly wasn't for me. I got the strong tart blackberry up from with a very dry finish, lacking any sweetness or hint of blueberry. While I enjoy sours, this one relied a bit too heavily on that particular note, feeling empty in overall profile.

Tasty when the Cans have Rested

I enjoyed the last can I had of this a few days ago, straight from my fridge having sat there several days. It has a nice clean berry flavor, and it poured a pretty nice consistent dark purple color. When paired with some cheese it didn't have quite as sour a tone to it any more.
I will say, I think these cans did need to be well rested. I had tried one both the day it arrived, and while it was a very crisp nice sour flavor, I didn't care for the "Lees" (sediment) on it the way I have on some others. Similarly, even car travel to a friends house managed to stir it up that I got some of that.
One other possible aspect: I enjoyed it more out of my Horn mug than a standard glass. Granted that's not necessarily an apples-to-apples comparison.
But overall a very nice berry flavor. Pair it with some thing with some protein if it's to sour for you.
