These are all of Ricky’s actual notes on our meadery operation and the mead we make. There might be profanity, usually of the late 19th Century variety. The only redactions are to remove the names of people and businesses when deemed appropriate. Footnotes provided by Jess and Kelly.

The new scales got here at 9 AM! Jake had them in by 10! Can’t get them to actually weigh things, but at least the machine isn’t eating cans anymore.
Can you tell which one is the old one?

Smooth running day, Valkyrie's Choice is showing a bit of a slow-down as it approaches 1.000. Dunno what that’s about.

Finally got the machine up to full operation speed with all of the new improvements! We are quite confident that Herbert[1] is homophobic given the behavior he’s had around Bee Proud. Managed to adjust his sensor eye, but still having more issues than we’d like.
Indexer on canning machine is behaving better but letting empties through periodically.

Removed the restrictor plate from the outlet of the CIP machine and OMG what a difference! I can’t believe someone put it back in and I never noticed. It’s like a whole new machine. Also experimented with a cold water rinse for the first time and it seems to be pretty effective with the higher flow rate.

Valkyrie's Choice is doing that weird logarithmic thing starting at 1.008. Still not quite certain what’s going on.
Adjusted CIP is hella tight.

Nice balance of the cinnamon and vanilla. The heat from the peppers isn't very strong. Color reminds me of some of the meads I've tried when I first started drinking mead
The perfect mead to ride our current epic California storms. This Crisp, refreshing mead has helped me ward off cabin fever and focus on better weather ahead. I'm saving the majority of my order for springtime frolicking in fields of green grass.
I love Nordic Farmhouse so much I would marry it! My favorite flavor profiles are sour and sweet, and this festive mead is very refreshingly tart! I especially love to drink it and serve it to my guests at the cranberry holidays (ie. Thanksgiving and Solstice/Christmas)!
Lovely golden color. No off smell to this one. Definitely notice the cinnamon flavor. Very refreshing.
I’m not getting the snickerdoodle/fall notes others do, but to be fair my palate is not the most refined. It’s a brisk lightly flavored mead to me, but I can’t pick out any particular flavor(s). It did help me through a good portion of the latest crossword, however. Going to let the rest of the pack sit awhile - sometimes aging is the secret formula to mind blowing mead. Will update down the road.
